CosplayCymru Rules and Regulations

Joining - To join CosplayCymru you need only these things to be applicable to you.

You must be fifteen or older.
If you are under the age of fifteen, sorry - but wait a little longer.

Live in the South Wales area.
Let's face it; if you don't live close enough; you can't get to the meets. And that's what this club is for; MEETS. If you live in England/Ireland/Scotland/ANYWHERE BUT WALES I'm sorry; but you're too far away. Look for a group in your own area. Likewise; if you live too far North in Wales... but then you can try our brother group CosplayCymruNorth.

Cosplay.
You have to actually cosplay. 'Planning to', 'maybe' and 'thinking about it' just doesn't cut it. Unless you've been seen at a meet in cosplay, or have a picture of your cosplay on your deviantART your join request will not be accepted. Feel free to come to a meet to see what it's like and get to know people.

Submissions - There are only two types of submissions allowed into the group gallery.

Group shots, pairing shots, single shots... as long as it has the CCS cosplayers in it at a meet, it's allowed! We want to see you having fun, and we want the rest of the world to see you having fun too! Cosplay's not about the drama, it's about having fun with friends and expressing yourself!

Your absolute best cosplay.
We don't want to spam inboxes with every WIP, blurry, webcam, candid shot there is; you've got your own galleries/PhotoBucket/FaceBook/MySpace/Tumblr for that. But if you've got a picture that you think shows the best of your cosplay... submit it. And it may make it into the Featured Gallery for eveyone to worship see. It needs to show your cosplay though, not jus your pretty face and mad photoshop skillz.

Cosplay - just some quick notes.

OC cosplays are NOT accepted for joining.
Why? Because they're undefined. We don't know what they are; I could pull clothes on; draw myself, call it an OC and have an OC cosplay just like that. You CAN cosplay OC's - but have at least one licensed/recognized cosplay.

Neko, Goth/Wa-Lolita, Vis Kei etc
These are fashion choices, not cosplay and as such will NOT be accepted for application. They still look awesome though - and are super popular with the anime/manga sect.

General - Rules in regard to the meets.

Respect other peoples cosplay.
Wigs, clothes, shoes, accesories and props - treat it with respect! Don't grab at peoples wigs, tug on their costumes or toss around their props. Nothing hurts more than working hard on something only for it to get broken during some roughplay. "Sorry." doesn't always cut it kids - be careful.

Be responsible for yourself, your belongings and your behaviour.
You are responsible for your transport, safety and conduct. For under 18's this includes making sure your parents know where you are as meets can sometimes run late into the night. We are not liable for lost/stolen belongings or your behaviour. However, if you are found to have stolen things or behaved innappropraitly, you will be removed from the group. This includes harrassment and underage drinking.
